MARAIS SALANTS D'AL WATHBA

This reserve is a protected area in the salt marshes of Al Wathba. Founded by Sheikh Zayed, it has since become an important ornithological center in the emirate. Indeed, more than 4,000 pink flamingos nest there from October to March, but also more than 250 species of birds and a very diverse flora. The visit starts with the reception center before going through 2 circuits of 1.5 and 3 km which will allow you to observe the birds quietly thanks to observation shelters.
