JINGUANGFU HOUSE

Right next to the Tian Shui Residence (天水堂), the Jinguangfu House (金廣福公館) dates back to 1835 and has been open to visitors ever since. The visit itself is not very interesting, but you can see some antique furniture, beautifully crafted doors, as well as Chinese calligraphy. A rather rare testimony in Taiwan, where few old houses as well preserved have remained standing. The visit is easily done in less than a quarter of an hour.
