Frederick is the second most populated city in Maryland, with 71,000 inhabitants, located 1 hour from Washington and Baltimore. Founded by German settlers in 1745, an old industrial city, it is especially worth it for its old town, very beautiful and full of parks, restaurants and craft shops.
