The most liked place for visitors in Ireland. This place has a very vintage and historical vibe. The main attraction here is the Abbey. It describes the history of that place perfectly. The small church represents great religious significance. The entire Abbey connects with beautiful pathways. Every pathway has an information board about that place and nature. The Victoria garden and walls are managed well by property. Overall, it was a great Irish experience. The only problem they have is bus schedules facilitating travel within the property. If you miss a bus, you'll either have to wait for a while or have to go around because the bus doesn't stop in between.

Beautiful place, I’m stunned about the size of the property. Big free car park. Actually best photo location for the Abbey is from the car park so you do not need to pay anything, but…buy ticket and explore. There is even shuttle bus that can get you to the gardens for someone that does not or can’t walk to the gardens (around 1.2km) from the Abbey. Way to the Abbey (Wild Atlantic Road) is amazing and is unique attraction as well.

Beautiful building and gardens, with a great cafe (get the apple pie for sure).

We were there in April and while beautiful I'm not sure the experience was worth the 2 hr drive out of our way.

Irish Friend invited us on a beautiful walk around the lake and visit to the gardens with option to visit the abbey. Unfortunately, they put a fence around everything and charge almost 20€ to get past it, so you end up paying for a bus ride to a parking lot with a restaurant and shop. I'm fine with paying to visit the abbey but fencing the nature is appalling.

We spent the Saturday morning walking around the place. It was a lovely place and we enjoyed the 2h we spent there. The abbey looks great especially from the bridge. The chapel was in renovation and the garden was okay, but it’s not the proper season I suppose to enjoy a garden. A bit expensive though.

Leider sehr enttäuschend, direkt am Ticketverkauf zwei sehr unfreundliche junge Damen die sich über meine Herkunft lustig machten. Das Gelände ist übersäht von Baustellen, vom eigentlichen Schloss sieht man nur sehr wenig, und der Garten ist auch nichts besonderes. Zumindest wenn man dafür 17€ p.P. (Erwachsen) zahlt. Für so viel Geld hätte ich schon mehr erwartet.

Jardin et Abbaye magnifiques
Une magnifique abbaye dans un cadre grandiose.
Le jardin est magnifique.
Je pense que c'est le lieu le plus touristique du parc du Connemara.
L'entrée est à 14 euros.
Il y'a une navette intérieure
L'abbaye est encore habitée par des religieuses.
Nous n'avons pas tout compris de la visite sur les traces de la famille Henry, car il n'y a pas de visite en langue française, pourtant il y'avait pas mal de touristes français.

Très intéressante et agréable visite dans cette abbaye "dirigée" par des benedictines et qui se trouve dans un cadre magnifique. Visite de quelques meublées du château, de la chapelle, du parc et du potager avec ses serres. Très belle balade dans le magnifique parc.
A la sortie immense boutique avec quelques produits confectionnés sur place tels jam, confiture, chutney et des chocolats maison.

Tres jolie abbaye au milieu de rien, avec un beau jardin...Tout est très bien entretenu et intéressant à visiter. Il y a deux bémols: le prix assez cher 13 ou 14€ et le fait que l'on ressente beaucoup que tout est fait pour faire de l'argent avec le restaurant sur place ....
