Signs indicate this bridge where it is possible to take a small passage which allows to pass between the Eurasian tectonic plate and the American plate. A bridge of symbolic interest, but with free access... The whole area around is criss-crossed by hiking trails. A precise map of these marked paths is available in the tourist offices. One of them leads to the hot spring of Gunnuhver.

Un des premiers lieux visités après notre arrivée en avion. Un pont enjambe une petite gorge remplie de sable. Rien de très spectaculaire mais c'est très intéressant. Un panneau explique le mouvement des continents. Le paysage lunaire avec lave et petites fleurs violettes est très joli.
