Built around 1883, this Gothic Revival-style house was the home of Alphonse and Dorimène Desjardins, the founders of the Mouvement Desjardins. Let yourself be transported back to 1906 in this residence that saw the birth of the largest financial cooperative movement in America, and discover the customs of yesteryear through the history of this family, all in the heart of the Vieux-Lévis district. On view from late June to mid-October: the architectural projection on the façade of the house.

The Société historique Alphonse-Desjardins is organizing an architectural projection to highlight a heritage building in the Vieux-Lévis area: the Maison Alphonse-Desjardins. The animations immerse the public in the atmosphere of the house, showing both the daily life of the Desjardins family and the building's use as the first caisse. Archival images are projected onto the façade, and the silhouettes of Alphonse and Dorimène Desjardins appear in the windows. This initiative highlights for the public the roots and vision that have shaped the course of the Desjardins Group. The addition of a soundtrack to these images will make this year's visitor experience even more memorable.
