DYNJANDI (FJALLFOSS)
One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland, also called Fjallfoss, with a height of 100 m, 30 m wide and a top of 60 m.
Dynjandi is one of Iceland's most beautiful waterfalls, also known as Fjallfoss, the "mountain waterfall". At 100 m high, 30 m wide at the top and 60 m at the base, it slides down seven staircases, finally dropping into a narrow gully. The other six waterfalls can be seen during your hike (twenty minutes maximum), following the signs each time. The waterfall is located 37 km southeast of Þingeyri (route 60). Please note: the first section is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
