The Community of Municipalities of the Valleys of La Tille and the Ignon (Covati) acts for the development of a territory composed of 23 municipalities and for the quality of life of its 13,500 inhabitants: Avelanges, Chaignay, Courtivron, Crécey-sur-Tille, Diénay, Echevannes, Épagny, Gemeaux, Is-sur-Tille, Lux, Marcilly-sur-Tille, Marey-sur-Tille, Marsannay-le-Bois, Moloy, Pichanges, Poiseul Saulx, Saulx-le-Duc, Spoy, Tarsul, Til-Châtel, Vernot, Villecomte, Villey-sur-Tille. It is a public institution of intercommunal co-operation (EPCI) that exercises a wide variety of competences on the basis of statutes that define its functioning. It is committed, inter alia, to the development of the territory and the implementation of quality services. Its intercommunal tourism office, located in the place of the Republic in Is-sur-Tille, provides information on all the member communes.
