Shepparton, Victoria's fifth-largest town (population approx. 40,000), lies at the center of the Goulburn Valley Irrigation System. The town's economy is based on fruit production and, even more so, the dairy industry. For visitors to the area, the Mooving Art project (from moo the cow's bellow and to move move) immediately captures the importance attached to this industry: nearly a hundred multicolored fiberglass cows are scattered throughout the greater Shepparton area.
