Glenrowan is a small, one-street village on the Hume Freeway on the outskirts of Wangaratta, about 240 kilometers from Melbourne. It is famous for being the town where Ned Kelly, Victoria's most famous outlaw, was arrested in 1880. Next to Kate's Cottage, a museum at 35 Gladstone St. preserves the memory of Kelly. It is an opportunity to discover who this character was and to understand both his history, but also the importance he had, more than in Victoria, in the whole of Australia.
