The place was clean, quiet, and the people super kind, but the BREAKFAST. I’m a breastfeeding mom who is always hungry and cravy (and who travels a lot) and I’ve never seen a continental spread like this. Red velvet waffles. Chocolate chips, walnut, and strawberry puree toppings. Maple sausage. Egg white frittatas. Plus all the usual fruit, cereal, baked goods. I actually feel nourished for a long drive with an eight-month-old. Thank you, Hampton.
Good spot, can’t go 5 stars because it’s old and not updated, but what they have there is clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly, rooms were nice and breakfast was good. Parking was easy and quick on and off the freeway. This Hampton is less expensive than neighboring towns probably because it’s older. Great spot.
The free morning breakfast was awesome. I really liked the oatmeal which was cooked correctly and served hot as should be. Condiments were all there including walnuts and all were fresh.
Good place to stop for a quick one night stay. Quiet place the night we were there. Sheets were fresh. Shower was clean. Did the trick. Staff were very nice.
This hotel is an older Hampton Inn but was clean and comfortable. Ida at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. We had an issue with the thermostat in the room. It turned out that it needed new batteries and it was resolved quickly. Ida also made an excellent recommendation for us to get dinner. El Jarrito Mexican Grill on Farmerville Hwy was great! The hotel breakfast was excellent. I would stay again
Great hotel! Very clean and nice friendly staff. Breakfast was great! Bed was comfy...took forever to get got water to the bathroom sink tho. Like forever. But we would stay again.
My son is a student /athlete the football season has begun , and sadly Hilton makes it a point to price gouge normally the room are $97-$120 (maybe) during the season $380 per night! How is this ever ok?
Plane and simple—-Greed!!!
Renovations are needed , (see cut out & paint over in pic)
this location isn’t a new construction but even still someone at the table demands the prices be inflated while families are gathering in Ruston area to support loved ones …
I prefer this location honestly … staff is always kind, cleanliness on point as much as possible I’d love a brand spanking new space with upgrades on everything for $300 + a night —- pricing is outlandish for what’s offered regarding the structure as is .
Therefore my family have moved our reservations for the remainder of his season games!
The rooms are trash and extremely small! For $200 for the night their are many better options if your looking for value. I expect more from Hampton/Marriott. If you need a place to stay just sleep in your car.
Unfortunately, this hotel is WAY too overpriced for what you get. The hotel itself is very old and not well maintained. The rooms were dark and dingy, and the bathrooms were so dirty and not well maintained; so much so that one of our travelers refused to use the bathroom in our room and had to use the one in the lobby.
Staff was awesome & very helpful room was clean but my only complaint is that my room was extremely HOT the ac worked but it didn’t seem to cool off the room so we got up early and left
The hotel was located with much ease to get on and off the interstate. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. Prices are comparable to other hotels.
