Like most of Brazil's national parks, Superagüi is administered by ICMBIO, the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation. Entrance to the park is free. For two reasons, it is advisable to use certified guides who are duly registered with local guide offices. Official local guides are trained in nature observation and know how to present biodiversity. They supervise visitors with respect for the environment. Last but not least, they are the guarantors of tour safety.
