The Comptoir des Colonies is not only a popular tea room for tourists and a haven for regulars, it is also a boutique area that offers an impressive range of Mariage Frères teas for sale, each with its own poetic names. Under the window, some utensils and crockery elements to perfect an old-fashioned tea time. About twenty coffee references from all over the world roasted a few steps from the show. The fragrances that emerge from it offer the incomparable pleasure of an olfactory journey in the Caribbean or Africa. A new addition to the range since last year: an organic coffee from Peru. Je suis restée 20 minutes installée à attendre qu’on vienne prendre ma commande, personne n’est jamais venu. Les autres clients on eux eu la chance de pouvoir commander et être servi.
Je décide donc de partir, mais passe quand même par le bar pour dire au revoir. On me répond merci à bientôt. J’ai répondu que non, car personne n’était jamais venu prendre ma commande.
La réponse de la serveuse ? « Ah. » puis a continuer son chemin.
A vomir cet endroit. Je vous me déconseille, il existe bien mieux ailleurs.
