Very popular location in the north of Maré, in the bay of Waek offering 4 paillotes.

North of Maré, in the bay of Waek, Jacques and Suzanne Wadehane offer 4 huts, one of which is nicely placed on a rock, surrounded by water. This site is very popular and reservations are made weeks in advance. Ten pitches, in the shade of coconut trees, are also available for campers and, whatever the type of accommodation chosen, the sanitary block is shared. The setting is magnificent and offers a perfume of the end of the world, between turquoise water and a rocky coastline, ideal for snorkeling.

Un cadre magnifique ! c'est un accueil en tribu pas un hôtel. Pas d'eau chaude, des matelas à terre pas très épais mais c'est comme ça ! Un accueil chaleureux, des gens qui partagent leur quotidien en tribu, Jacques et Suzanne ainsi que leurs enfants nous on fait partager des traditions et coutumes que nous n'oublierons jamais (fiançailles de sa fille). Nous étions considérés comme de la famille, merci beaucoup. Repas très bons et traditionnels, la case au bout du rocher et tout simplement fabuleuse, bref un séjour dépaysant ;)

Not nice to put a rabbit, J reserved the day before for all was ok and then the same day nobody seemed with the current, us N therefore could not eat. A shame because the setting is very nice. In short to prevent if you want to be on eating something!

we had reserved and when we arrived on site nobody to accommodate, one tried to call them on several occasions and nothing so we have to change cottage do is a shame because do is nice and do is a cottage with a super potential but nothing N is done for.

In the heart of a unique setting, Jacques and Suzanne, including their children, us on their paradise on the edge of the lagoon with the magnificent colours.

Accompanied by their huge sympathy, Jacques and Suzanne make us take part in the various local activities such as weaving, sculpture or the preparation of traditional bougna.

We strongly recommend it.
