A museum dedicated to the history of Bad Tölz and its surroundings.

Although it has been a museum since 1981, this was not always the case for this house, which belonged to Balthasar Bürger, a master brewer whose reputation earned him a place in the chronicles in 1602. In 1720, he took on an even more important role as a wine merchant. From 1906 to 1979, the place hosted the town hall. Today, the house houses the museum, which shows the history of the development of Bad Tölz and its surroundings.
