There's not much to do in Kenwood, and not much to say about it either. Nonetheless, it's a pretty little village in Sonoma Valley, just outside Sonoma, with some fine vineyards. Thomas Kearns, mining, railroad, newspaper and banking magnate and Utah Senator, is said to have entertained President Theodore Roosevelt here at his ranch. And, perhaps most exciting of all, the World Pillow Fighting Championship was born here in the 1970s and continued for many years. Now that the Covid pandemic seems to be over, we're eagerly awaiting its return.
