KNIK RIVER LODGE

At the end of the beautiful Knik River Road and close to the eponymous glacier, a one-hour drive from Anchorage, a small group of fifteen red-roofed chalets perched on the mountain offer good comfort, privacy and a bucolic setting. The view is superb, from the rooms as well as from the restaurant below. In the small cabins for 2 persons with private bathroom, kitchenette, the bedding is comfortable, the coffee maker and the mini-fridge are appreciable. The panelled walls offer a cosy chalet atmosphere.
