Cintsa, or Chintsa as it is known by clicking its tongue, is divided into two parts, the eastern and western parts, by the eponymous river. It is the first real stop on the Jizekela Route, which has 17 km of beaches and good surfing spots. Have the details explained to you on the spot. The eastern side is more developed than the western side, but the two are connected by the beach. In 1647, the Portuguese ship Atalaia disappeared in the rough waters of this small fishing village and cannons found here can be seen in the East London Museum. Today, Cinsta works more in the hotel business to accommodate its travellers.
