Just 5 minutes from Achada lies a little corner of paradise, a blue paradise! It's one of the island's main points of interest, with its crystal-clear blue waters. A footpath leads to the site, starting at the historic Alminhas monument in the center of Achadinha. Good footwear is essential, as the path can be muddy. Other, longer options are available to reach the "blue hole", such as the Terres de Notre Seigneur trail (4 km/medium). For maximum beauty, you need sunshine.
