Immortalized in paintings by Group of Seven artists, this rugged peninsula bordered by rocky islands offers shelter to only the most tenacious forms of life, including subarctic plants and a herd of woodland caribou. Enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches on the north shore of Lake Superior or visit a re-enactment of a prisoner of war camp at the Visitor Centre.
