Hiking Salir

On the beautiful road that leads from Salir to Quérença, do not miss the classified site of Fonte Bénémola. Wear your best walking shoes and embark on a 4.5 km hike along the Menalva River, indicated by yellow and red rectangles. This route allows you to discover the beautiful fountain of Benemola, the vegetation around the river, old lime kilns and a typical craftsman of the region. A beautiful journey back in time. Two possible departures, from the village of Penina or Rocha da Pena. This hike is a loop around the limestone massif of Rocha da Pena, which rises to 472 m.
