When night falls in and around Salir, the shops close their doors one after the other to let the village watch in peace. It's not easy to find a place to eat: there's only one restaurant open, and fortunately, it's good! Porto Doce is therefore the place where locals and visitors meet at the end of the day. Run by a Franco-Portuguese couple, the establishment includes a takeaway snack section and a restaurant section. The cuisine is simple but everything is homemade. The managers are good advisers for visits.
