TORRE DIGITAL - FLOR DO CERRADO
Tower housing the digital transmission equipment for 12 TV channels and featuring a belvedere with a privileged view of the city
Inaugurated in 2012, the tower, another of Niemeyer's projects (and his last), is Brasília's new postcard, along with the other "torre da TV". Named Fleur du cerrado, the tower houses the digital transmission equipment for 12 TV channels. The digital TV tower, also known as Flor do Cerrado, can be seen from virtually every district of the Plano Piloto, and is a lookout point offering a privileged view of the city.
