The Supreme Federal Tribunal is a glass cube, surrounded by a series of white marble columns, which encircle the building. In front, a statue of a blindfolded woman by Ceschiatti represents justice. The jurisdiction of the Federal Supreme Court is multiple: it is both a Supreme Court (court of last instance) and a Constitutional Court (which rules on questions of constitutionality of certain decisions).
