OBJETO ENCONTRADO

Working with organic products from the MST, Objeto encontrado ("object encountered") is both a café and an art gallery (objects displayed on the shelves, the counter and in the basement, and thus "encountered" just about everywhere) where tables are laid out on a covered terrace. The atmosphere is a little... Carioca, but without the sea. It's a very pleasant place to come for a coffee after lunch or an afternoon snack. The cheesecake is the house specialty and the coffees are of the highest quality. A place to know.
