This promontory reaches a height of 730 m. From Les Trois-Epis, a short walk takes you to the foot of the monument built on a rocky spur. 7 m high, a statue of Christ, with arms wide open, dominates the Alsace plain. It is almost like Rio de Janeiro as this monument is reminiscent of the Christ of Corcovado. The Galtz commemorates Alsace's return to France in 1918.
