This is a great place to stop in the heart of the Etna National Park. A refuge is located at 1,500 m on the northern flank, above Linguaglossa. This fully equipped wooden chalet seems to be lost in the middle of the forest. The 6 cosy mountain rooms will make you feel different from the usual Sicilian landscapes, almost like in Switzerland! It has a restaurant, a camping area, offers excursions and rental of electric mountain bikes, horseback riding, downhill skiing in winter. Very friendly and caring staff.

Nice and cozy place in the middle of the forest. We had an very tasty Salsicia panini and an absolutely delicious ragu Arancini (more tasty the the famous ones in the city). They also have local beer selection and you can also buy local products like limoncello or fucco dell'etna. You can enjoy the silence and the views from the tables outside. Perfect place to have lunch when visiting Etna.
