This is a great place to stop in the heart of the Etna National Park. A refuge is located at 1,500 m on the northern flank, above Linguaglossa. This fully equipped wooden chalet seems to be lost in the middle of the forest. The 6 cosy mountain rooms will make you feel different from the usual Sicilian landscapes, almost like in Switzerland! It has a restaurant, a camping area, offers excursions and rental of electric mountain bikes, horseback riding, downhill skiing in winter. Very friendly and caring staff.

The Rifugio Citelli is an alpine refuge in the town of Sant'Alfio. Built in 1934, it stands at an altitude of 1,740 meters on the summit of Monte Concazze, on an ancient crater dating back over 3,000 years.
