This is a great place to stop in the heart of the Etna National Park. A refuge is located at 1,500 m on the northern flank, above Linguaglossa. This fully equipped wooden chalet seems to be lost in the middle of the forest. The 6 cosy mountain rooms will make you feel different from the usual Sicilian landscapes, almost like in Switzerland! It has a restaurant, a camping area, offers excursions and rental of electric mountain bikes, horseback riding, downhill skiing in winter. Very friendly and caring staff.

Tutto perfetto. Lo chalet è un ottimo punto di appoggio, immerso nella natura ma facilissimo da raggiungere. Piano Provenzana dista 10 min circa, a neanche mezz’ora linguaglossa, a circa 1 oretta il versante sud. Ottima organizzazione, personale gentilissimo. Cibo buono e super abbondante. Le camere della struttura centrale sono piccoline, ma dotate di tutti i comfort (riscaldamento, doccia, teli bagno, pulizia), perfette come appoggio per dormirci la sera passando fuori le giornate. Adatto alle famiglie. Ci ritorneremo!
