Muzej u Doboju

The museum (Muzej u Doboju/Музеј у Добоју) is located 600 m southwest of the castle. It houses well-presented collections with panels in English on archaeology, history, ethnology and the environment in the region. On display are Neolithic bronze objects, weapons and personal effects of Roman soldiers, stećci and jewelry from the Middle Ages, a rich Ottoman collection, tools and costumes of daily life from the ^17th to the ^20th centuries, ^20th-century weapons, as well as works by ceramist Drago Handanović (b. 1939).
