A museum dedicated to Camembert in Vimoutiers, where you can discover the evolution of the production process and a rich collection of Camemberts.
Created thanks to donations from the cellars of the region’s old cheese-making families, this museum, renovated several years ago, remains a must-see for cheese lovers. The exhibition rooms take visitors through the various stages in Camembert production, from milk collection to renneting, molding, maturing, and marketing. Visitors can follow the evolution of techniques through equipment, posters, and a collection of almost 3,000 Camembert labels. Tasting available!

Musée original et ludique ouvert à tout public et pour tous âges dont la visite est suivie d'une dégustation de camemberts pasteurisé, thermisé et au lait cru moulé à la louche. Histoire de mettre en application la théorie apprise durant la visite!
