ES CAU BAR

A mythical place in Menorca, Es Cau Bar is a bar dug into the cliff and completely out of time. Apart from the humidity and the cobwebs on the wall, it is perhaps one of the best places to listen to traditional Menorcan music. The grandfathers who run the bar sometimes play the guitar, or invite their friends to give concerts on the terrace (usually around 10pm). An authentic place, full of history, perfect for sipping a solid pomada in the evening. A night stop more than recommended.
