This beautiful hotel also boasts a much-appreciated restaurant, and rightly so. In a cosy setting, Aurélie welcomes you, while Gaëtan Crespin offers you the mastery of a great chef, proposing dishes à la carte or on a flexible menu, with an emphasis on fresh, local produce. These include duck foie gras, veal sweetbreads with polenta and delicious root vegetables, and venison haunch. For dessert, the apple caramelized with Calvados is beyond reproach. A word of advice: make a reservation!

Wir waren mit dem Camper auf der Durchreise und hatten uns auf ein feines Essen gefreut. Da wir den ganzen Morgen unterwegs waren und nicht besonders schick angezogen waren, wollten wir draußen an einem der vorhandenen Tische Platz nehmen. Trotz sichtbarer Präsenz wurden wir nach 15 Minuten ignoriert. Als ich hineinging und fragte, ob man draußen essen dürfe, wurde das knapp verneint – der Herr wandte sich direkt ab und lief weg. Auf meine Nachfrage, ob wir drinnen essen dürften, kam nur ein knappes „Wir sind voll“ über die Schulter zurück. Man spürte deutlich, dass wir dort nicht willkommen waren. Sehr enttäuschend – der schöne Schein täuscht.
