At the foot of the beautiful Hudson Bay Mountain (2,621 m), this town of about 5,500 people supports forestry, farming and mining industries. It is also a popular tourist destination, with all the classic outdoor attractions: skiing, golf, rafting, snowmobiling, canoeing, kayaking, etc. Several companies offer seaplane or boat tours. You can also admire the fossils in Driftwood Canyon or stroll along the 3.5 km nature interpretation trail that passes through various ecological habitats.
