This cosy cafe in a small house (with board) offers a very good selection of home-made cakes and pies.

Located a few meters from the Forggensee (artificial lake built in 1954), this pleasant café nestled in a small house (with board) offers a very good selection of homemade cakes and pies. Around 4 or 5 pm, it is traditional in Germany to have "Kaffee und Kuchen", with hearty and greedy cream cakes. At lunchtime and in the evening, there are also some small dishes. Gerlinde is also a guesthouse with 6 rooms (simple and comfortable): its guests will be familiar with the café as it is also the breakfast room.
