Built at the beginning of the 16th century to protect the city from the Ottoman threat, the Frankopan Tower and its more recent main buildings now house the city's historical museum. Archaeological and ethnographic objects are on display. We also retrace the history of many mountaineers who came to the region to climb the nearby Klk Mountain. A play is dedicated to Ivana Brlić Mažuranić, a children's storyteller, who was born in Ogulin.
