You can visit this historic plantation of Georgetown County whose main building dates back to 1740. Here was Thomas Lynch Jr., one of the signatories of the 1776 Declaration of Independence. In addition to the proposed guided tours, it is possible to follow a vegetable fibre baskets training course (Sweetgrass Basketmaking Class). There is also a lunch at the River Oak Cottage Tea room.
