RIVER WALK

A pleasant walk that partially follows the Eno River and connects Gold Park in the west to Occoneechee Speedway in the east via River Park, located at the end of the main street of S Churton Street. It will take you between 45 minutes and 1 hour to get to Occoneechee Speedway, one of the first tracks in NASCAR (stock car racing). On the other side, you will reach Gold Park, the former baseball stadium of the city's textile factory, in about twenty minutes. We like the natural and industrial mix of the walk on this side and it is also a good alternative to reach West Hillsborough while enjoying the calm of the green nature.
