Medieval church that was isolated in the middle of the fields, today absorbed in the city center in Cambrils
From its construction around the 13th century until the recent expansion of Cambrils, this medieval church was isolated in the middle of the fields, which for a long time earned it the name of hermitage. Today it has been absorbed into the city center and no longer has any of its original appearance. In fact, the church that can be seen today was built on the foundations of the old one between 1704 and 1783 in a late Renaissance style mixed with neoclassical elements.
