Château housing one of Normandy's most extensive private collections, including globes and atlases from the XVIᵉ to the XVIIIᵉ centuries
This magnificent residence was once a stronghold of the Duchy of Normandy in the 12th century. In the heart of a verdant setting, including a superb avenue of lime trees, the current château was built between 1703 and 1725 in an architectural style inspired by Mansart. Frequent restoration work has restored the covered enclosure, the Saint-Pierre tower and the moat to their former glory. The château houses one of the largest private collections in Normandy: globes and atlases from the XVIᵉ to the XVIIIᵉ centuries, ship models and a contemporary art collection in the tower.
