The community of Tengenenge exhibits its work in an open-air art gallery. The gallery displays over 1,000 sculptures by more than 100 artists and sales are at much lower prices than in the rest of the country. Most of these artists live in Tengenenge themselves, each with their own booth where they display their work and a workshop where they make it. A museum has been built to house Tengenenge's earliest sculptures and to pay tribute to the sculptors of previous generations, as well as to display contemporary sculptures.

Bon pour acheter des souvenirs
La galerie offre une grande variété de sculptures à choisir parmi des centaines : des animaux, des figures humaines et quelques figures abstraites. Cela fait un bon souvenir à ramener du Zimbabwe. Les prix varient en fonction de la taille des objets, il paraît : ça va de 20 à quelques 300 dollars. Je pense qu'il est possible de marchander le prix car celui-ci n'est affiché nulle part.
Attention, les sculptures sont fragiles : j'en ai accidentellement fait tomber une par terre et ça a laissé des égratignures (d'ailleurs c'est pour cela que je n'ai pas osé marchander).
Seule chose qui ne m'a pas plu : il m'a semblé qu'un intermédiaire s'occupait des ventes, donc je ne sais pas quel pourcentage des recettes revient aux artistes...
