Frog and Fern, with its warm welcome, is one of the most pleasant and charming accommodations in the area. It's an excellent base for exploring the mountains. There are five fully-equipped chalets, each sleeping between 2 and 7 people. The interior is a delightful blend of wood and stone. The walls are decorated with paintings by Dee, who is a talented naturalist painter. For campers, there are pitches with sanitary facilities, hot water and barbecue, all set in a beautiful garden planted with trees.

We were happy with our overnight stay. We were returning from camping so we had all the food items we needed to make our meals. Beds were comfortable and shower was warm (not cold and not scalding). (You bring your own toiletries.) We had a warm welcome at the gate and assistance in bringing up our belongings.
Just be careful about the outdoor steps. It’s not living in the lap of luxury but just what we needed.
Note: Google Maps if off by about 500m. You have to drive to where it says Kwesu Cottages.
There is no wifi. You can use your own cell service.
