Planted on the hillside beside the road leading to Pointe Coton and Saint-François, Basanio, named after its former chef who worked in the hotel business for twenty years and passed on his know-how to his wife, is a simple, friendly stopover; a place as warm as its sunny yellow frontage and the generosity of its dishes. Le gratin fruits de mer avec ses produits frais en vaut la peine. Il faut par contre etre patient avant de deguster les mets du chef.
La chaleur a l interieur et les mouches gachent l experience par contre.

Welcome friendly... food delicious local n authentic , environment is in the middle of nowhere in a green nature around.... a long wait before being served but the food is unexpectedly good n worth the wait..
