Deer Creek Road is Highway 158, the connecting road between Kyle Canyon Road (Hwy 157) and Lee Canyon Road (Hwy 156). Desert View Overlook is a landscaped viewpoint offering a superb panorama of mountains and the vibrant colors of the desert in the distance. An orientation table in the shape of a semicircle allows you to get your bearings and locate some of the areas where army nuclear testing took place in the 1950s. It's a pity that most of the information has been erased by time and the sun.
