On the slopes of Eguisheim, the Baur family has been cultivating a winegrowing heritage of patience, precision and passion for generations. With 17 hectares of organic vines since 2011, Armand and his son Arnaud, an oenologist, shape a mosaic of terroirs, from the Brand, Eichberg and Pfersigberg Grands Crus to the Holzweg, Fronenberg and alluvial soils of the Harth. Wine is good but service is bad. The lady who was serving me that evening was rude. I think it is important to have someone who can speaks and understands English well in a touristic town like Eguisheim. Although my friends did warn me about how proud French people can be with their language, I truly believed it is a myth because I was greeted by many friendly English-speaking French locals during my one-week stay in Alsace.

Nous voulions simplement refaire le stock de notre cave et faire plaisir à nos amis et famille.
Nous sommes repartis avec seulement 1 bouteille....pas de bonjour.... l'impression de déranger.... Les clients déjà présent avaient le droit a une dégustation mais pas nous.
Dommage, nous irons faire nos achats ailleurs.

Wir waren für eine Verkostung dort und haben ein paar Flaschen gekauft. Da der Wein sehr gut ist und die Besitzer wirklich sehr herzlich sind, sind wir in derselben Woche gleich noch ein zweites Mal vorbeigekommen. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen
