Domaine Mann in Eguisheim: organic and biodynamic wines, Grands Crus, Gault & Millau 2017 Pépite Trophy and family know-how

Supported by their son Sébastien, Jean-Louis and Fabienne Mann manage this 12.5-hectare family estate, which is certified AB and biodynamic. Controlled yields, venerable vines (50 years old), plots in the Pfersigberg and Eichberg Grands Crus. Hand-harvested in crates, long pressing, use of indigenous yeasts, aged 8 to 18 months on lees. These efforts earned the Domaine the Pépite de l'année Trophy at the Gault & Millau Wine Tour in April 2017. A fine accolade!

Independent winemaker. AB (agriculture biologique). Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 11:30am and 2pm to 6pm. Monday: closed. Sundays and public holidays: by appointment. Groups welcome by appointment. Winegrower's picnic on Whit Sunday. Visit the wine trail all year round, by appointment. Member of Opaba, Vignes Vivantes, Biodyvin, Renaissance des Appellations.
