FÊTE DU CHAMPIGNON

Fellow mycologists from all walks of life, this event is especially dedicated to you! It is traditionally organised every last weekend in October in the pretty medieval town of Eguisheim. For the past 15 years, the town has been hosting a popular mushroom festival! For the occasion, this village (stamped one of the most beautiful in France) is entirely dedicated to the world of about thirty edible mushrooms in Alsace. Walking along its venerable streets and alleys, you will discover a mycological exhibition, a local market and above all a space dedicated to the truffles so sought-after, but also thematic animations, conferences and cooking workshops. Good to know: most restaurateurs in Eguisheim take the opportunity to offer you an ephemeral menu under the aegis of the Mushroom King!
