Located southeast of Nijmegen and Arnhem, the Liberation Museum brings to life a strong and painful history. With the help of period films and interactive screens, the visitor is taken back to the pre-war years in the Netherlands and relives all the events that marked the country, from the German occupation to the Liberation. A moving, striking and educational museum whose aim is also to remind young people of the very high price paid for freedom and democracy in Europe.
