Ruin of the Saint Martin's chapel in a beautiful park of Nijmegen, a historical monument to discover.

The chapel of Saint Martin, built in 1155 by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, was part of the castle. Today only a ruin remains, consisting of a semi-circular apse and a small part of the choir. The whole is situated in a very nice park that you should definitely discover during your visit to Nijmegen. This ruin, together with the park and the chapel, forms a historical monument, which was protected after the demolition of the castle of Valkhof.
