Renaissance-style public weighbridge with a restaurant on the first floor in Nijmegen.
In the center of the square is the public weighbridge, built in 1612 in the Renaissance style. It presents a facade with a stoop where the red and black of the shutters and the dark red color of the brick are mixed. The first floor is occupied by a restaurant. Next to it is a group of 4 houses built in the 17th century. One of them, pierced by a vaulted passage with a decorated gable (1605), leads to the church of Saint Stephen. Nowadays it is possible to eat, drink and party in this famous building!
